Meet Richie.

Hello, I am Richie.

Richie Meldrum is an indepdent brand strategy consultant from Scotland, based in Melbourne, Australia.

He's led large-scale brand strategy projects across a wide range of industries and sectors, including architecture, arts and culture, technology, public policy and philanthropy for clients in the US, Europe, the Middle East and APAC regions.

He has guest lectured at universities, spoken on the ABC and presented at a number of conferences and events including Pause Fest, Process, The Brand Builders Summit and The Design Conference.

He is also an educator, workshop instructor and founder of learning program Bare Brand Strat, where he teaches brand strategy to business, industry organisatons and communicaton professionals.

He belives in making good work, with good people for good reasons.

I started off as a writer, struggled as a journalist, turned into a copywriter and came out as a strategist.

I’ve worked in brand and digital agencies in the UK and Australia, collaborating with designers, technologists, project managers, clients and loads of other incredibly smart people that do things I can’t.

Over the years, I’ve learnt how to use my love of research, writing and human behaviour to influence the outcome of hundreds of projects - from cultural institutions to global corporations, Italian-made womens’ shoes to Vietnamese noodle delivery apps.

I’m passionate about sharing what I know/don’t with others through teaching, speaking and getting involved whenever I can.

I love juice, outdoor swimming pools and battle rap.
